故事讲述住在冲绳离岛上的桥本骏(村田配音)，结识了失去父母的孤独高中生知花实央(松冈配音)，两位少年成了好友。实央为了快点成长为大人，决定离开本岛，两人渐渐断了联系。3年后，实央却再次出现在骏的面前，还大胆告白。。1949年10月1日，黎明的曙光照向久被阴霾笼罩的中华大地，而当华北欢庆新中国成立之际，我国西南边陲正进行着一场惊心动魄的生死之战。人民解放军挥师南下，攻克重镇贵阳，并直指川南。国民党方面不甘心退出历史舞台，于是派出特务潜入大西南，由代号“老板”的特务头子严森（梁冠华饰）发起了名为“猎鹰计划”的秘密行动。中共特纵特务营营长燕双鹰（张子健饰）在执行任务时偶然得知“猎鹰计划”，为了保住革命的胜利果实，他化装为军统少将。经过连番严酷的考验，燕逐渐取得严森的信任，但是身份偶然败露又将他推向死亡的边缘。 惊心动魄的角力接连展开，这是属于燕双鹰一个人的战斗……。On the same day Abbey is diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she and her girlfriend, Miranda, are invited to dinner by Miranda's former self-help group to celebrate the return of their estranged friend, Scott, who left to discover the origins of their practices.
