埼玉县，新越谷高校。这年春天入学的武田咏深，在那里与儿时好友的山崎珠姬重逢。中学时代，由于没有捕手能接住咏深的球，因此她那激烈变化的“魔球”无法投出，于是中途放弃了棒球。但在强豪队伍中磨练了实力的珠姬，成功地接下了咏深的变化球。实现了幼时的约定，再次相遇的两人，与同班的川口姐妹及其他同伴们一起让停止活动中的棒球部复活。目标是全国！新生·新越谷高校棒球部的挑战从这里开始——。Causton is buzzing at the opening of a new brewery on the site of a famously cursed Abbey.
